Easter holiday has started but I need to bring the laptop home to continue my work.
Yesterday, when I was packing my stuff to leave office one of my colleagues came to talk to me. While talking to him, I picked up my laptop and prepared to put it in my bag. I found the LED light on the battery was on. I said 'ohhhh 噢?' because I didn't realize there is LED light on the battery before.
Guess what my colleague said?
' Don't pretend naive/innocent !' "咪扮 天真/無知 嘞" (don't remember which adjective he used).
I was not going to defend anything, but in fact, it is really the first time I find the LED on the battery.
Deep in my heart, I know they don't believe I am 天真/無知.
Indeed, I am very innocent, but also , I am very careful and like to demand for fact/knowledge. 我只不過是心思細密而且喜歡求真和求知而已. I don't think there is any contradiction between these characters I have.

that colleague's response was WEIRD. my line to describe situation like that could be - "oh, you didn't know that?" . then again, i don't know if your coworker was 'inching' u, being hostile, or just joking. we need to see that colleague's facial expression...
i mean, there are gazillion things in this world that a person would NOT know.
