Fear

By the advanced medical technology, many defects from old day can be altered or cured now. They are originally the weakness of human being, e.g. blood type, personality, etc.

Nowadays, blood type can be altered.
Bad temper/personality is now identified as "illness" and medicine + treatment can cure the bad personality.

Are we creating 'perfect' person? Medical technology can resolve many human characteristics which we consider as 'bad' or ' not good' in the past. Like DNA genetic engineering, it is not following the rule of natural.

Is that human is trying to create the man kind that we believe 'it' is perfect?

Science is a strong tool. It's a tool that could help the mass population, if being used correctly (! by whoever's standard). The advance in science could become a 'weapon' if it got into the hands of the bad guy (by who's standard?). IMO, scientists will continue to do their research and study the 'incurable' disease and prolong a human being's longevity. There are ongoing discussions on the the new science findings/treatments/breakthrough which would have to answer the ethical questions posed by different leaders/organization. Indeed, if all man is equal, who has the right to make a person 'better'. Nowadays, even before a baby was born, a doctor could diagnose any problem that may occur during the fetal development. On one hand, we adore the advances in science, and on the other hand, we need to face the consequence when human being 'artificially' altered the 'rule of nature'.

Nothing is perfect, you need to pay and to get sth for exchange.

It is to see how much do we need to pay.

Also, there must another side when you see sth perfect.
